MINI BIO
I am a natural-born biographer. I am inherently investigative, insightful, and sensitively attuned. I have a rare ability to listen deeply and get right to the heart of a story. From a young age, I was fascinated by the stories of others. I recall reading Working by Studs Terkel and feeling a kinship to him. When I lived in Nashville years before I became a professional writer, I would take a microphone and tape recorder around town and interview people.
Since 1999, I have ghostwritten dozens of books for my clients: Memoirs, autobiographies, hybrid memoir/business books. Many of my book clients have experienced trauma and tragedy and emerged victorious. It is very satisfying to help my memoir clients process their trauma as they tell me their stories. I have been told by many that working with me is very therapeutic. Other clients have told stories of remarkable adventures. And some have been business people who have shared the story of their amazing and unlikely rise to prominence. All of my clients have been extraordinary.
